***still available in thread: WC Davis damascus lockback (second price drop) and PJ Tomes stag Remington Baby Bullet***

Two slipjoints by Ray Cover Sr - I think he calls both of these his "Utility" model.

***REDBONE IS SOLD***
The first has gorgeous jigged redbone scales with very fine black liners. It is 3 1/2" closed with a 2 5/8" blade (D2 steel -- unusual for a Ray Cover Sr folder). Integral stainless bolsters/liners with dovetailed bolsters and relieved liners. Action is strong and snappy with no blade play -- has a half stop tang with rounded corners. Never carried, never used, never sharpened. Asking $325 USPS Priority Mail included CONUS only - PayPal only please (fee included) -- insurance extra (recommended).

***AMBER BONE IS SOLD***
The second has nice amber jigged bone scales with very fine black liners. It is 3 3/8" closed with a 2 1/2" blade (ATS-34 steel). Integral stainless bolsters/liners with dovetailed bolsters and relieved liners. Action is firm and snap is moderate (not as hard a snap as the redbone has anyway) with no blade play -- has a half stop tang with rounded corners. Never carried, never used, never sharpened. Asking $205 USPS Priority Mail included CONUS only - PayPal only please (fee included) -- insurance extra (recommended).

For a question about the blade centering on the redbone knife:

*PJ Tomes Remington Baby Bullet* frontlock with sweet stag scales. It's 3 3/8" long closed with a 2 5/8" blade (Sandvik 12C27 steel). Stainless bolsters and liners. Wonderful matched stag scales showing PJ's usual skill in finely fitting them to the knife -- no fat, clunky stag scales here. Front lock requires only firm pressure to disengage. Has been (lightly) carried, used, and sharpened -- though it's hard to tell. Action is smooth, lockup is solid - no blade play that I can feel. Snap is modest. Note that the spine of the blade is rounded - so you won't see an "invisible" fit with the flat lockbar back when open -- see the scan below of the back when opened. Asking $375 USPS Priority Mail included CONUS only - PayPal only please (fee included) -- insurance extra (recommended). [Note that this model is $700 direct from PJ in stag.]

Hope these are good enough to help -- my scanner is not the greatest for this.

***SOLD***
*Bob Dozier Folding Hunter* -- I think this is the "original" original version of the DKFH - etched as made in 1997 - with gorgeous AG Russell bone scales. Knife is 4" closed with a 2 7/8" blade (0.097" thick stock) of D2 steel (of course) -- with an oversized nail nick and *no* pocket clip and *no* thumb bob (it's also a bit slimmer than recent folding hunter versions - the Ti liners are not quite as overbuilt as they are now). If you want a Dozier folding hunter *and* you want a traditional pocket knife with beautiful jigged bone scales, well, this should do it for you. :) Note: the scans show the bone colors a bit more saturated than they really are - but only a just a bit. Has the "antique ivory" backspacer -- looks great with the bone scales (not sure what the "ivory" material actually is - some claim it's elephant ivory - dunno, but it looks really good). It's action is just about as perfect as a linerlock gets -- smooth, with totally solid lockup with absolutely no blade movement in any direction -- unlocks totally smooth and clean also. It has been very lightly carried and used and sharpened. Comes with a nice cordura belt/pocket sheath (don't know if it was original equipment, but it came with it when I got it, and it fits perfectly). Asking $385 USPS Priority Mail included, CONUS only - PayPal only please (fee included) -- insurance extra (recommended).

*WC Davis Stainless Damascus Lockback* -- a rather unusual piece from this maker. He may have made other folders with damascus blades, but I don't remember ever seeing any. Knife is 3 15/16" closed with a 3" modified wharncliffe blade made of *very* tight twist stainless damascus (I'm pretty sure it's Damasteel damascus). Has Davis' usual integral aircraft aluminum alloy bolsters/liners with dovetailed bolsters. Gorgeous finely jigged red/amber bone scales (basically an amber body color overdyed with red). Has both nail nick and thumb bob with the typical Davis lockback construction. This particular model knife is Davis' folding interpretation of Loveless' "stiff Horn" knife (which is, of course, Loveless' fixed interpretation of one of Jess Horn's classic folder designs (which itself was originally designed for Jess Horn by Loveless) -- history, it's confusing :) ). Has a very nice tapered construction -- feels great in the hand. Great strong snap open and closed - very solid lockup. Never carried, never used, never sharpened. Asking $240 USPS Priority Mail included, CONUS only - PayPal only please (fee included) -- insurance extra (recommended). Sorry about the delay in getting this one up.
