Folders - What's in your pocket?

These days I am almost always carrying my Kershaw S60V Blur. But sometimes I carry an OD/Black Blade leek or a Brown Spyderco Endura. Although I just ordered a Spyderco Resilience and a Cold Steel Recon 1 with the new fancy back lock. I generally also have a Vic Farmer on me as well.

Shrade 34OT and either a Case CV Trapper or a Case Mini Copperhead.

only folder I own is a spyderco military in LH.
I don't carry it-cause I don't really trust folders-and my Izula or Hest carry so easily
but it rides in my EDC bag.

I rotate, but for the last few months it's been a Benchmade Nitrous Stryker 912D2 - awesome knife once I put an edge on it. Previous to that, I had been carrying a SOG Twitch XL Tanto (started to loose it's "spring" when opening), and a Benchmade Pardue 530 plain edge - love that one for it's lightness and overall usefulness, but not very beefy. I was about to order a ZT350CB when I saw the HEST folder.

A Spyderco Endura 4 (plain edge) is almost always in my right hip pocket. When I have to go onto a California school campus I leave the Endura in the car and keep a Case Sodbuster Jr. in my right front pocket. And then there's the Leatherman Squirt S4 on my key ring. :)

I'm looking forward to seeing more details about the HEST/F, but I suspect it will be too thick and heavy to bump the Endura out of my hip pocket. OTOH, a HEST (original fixed blade) will make its way into a pack or BOB some day.

Recently its either been my spyderco centerfonte or kershaw cyclone. Today it was the centerfonte.

currently- Zero Tolerance #0200.
previously- Buck/Strider Tarini, Benchmade AFCK with Ti liners, Spiderco Endura (tore the threaded inserts for the clip out of the handle when i snagged it on something. still works as a knife, but now it stays in the toolbox as a backup knife) Spyderco Delica with the integral clip (that got lost when i had to go back to the ticket counter and check it in a box i'd flown from Vegas to LA with it, but the LA metal detectors ere a little more sensitive, this was long before 9-11) a CRKT Desert Cruiser which was nice but too bulky for pocket carry) and an absolute POS Sifu from REKAT (carried that ONE DAY before it started to fall apart)

and various SAKs before the trend of one handed opening knives with pocket clips and locking blades took off.

I carry a Spyderco Tenacious wnen I'm at work. Beat the tar out of my work folders. When I get home I normally have a fixed blade in my pocket or on my belt but I sometimes carry a Spyderco Para.

In the woods I like the OHT for it's great saw and nice thin blade.

Oh, and my trusty Leatherman WAVE never leaves my belt.

Buck Vantage Select with some custom serrations and wave feature:D

Can't go wrong with the Vantage; light but substantial, sturdy, lightning fast flipper or wave, the great Buck steel and made in the USA...and about $20!!

Orange Griptilian. Love that knife.

...

But yes, I'll replace it with a HEST folder when it comes out.

I carry around a sog flash II. Sharp, but not really durable for any hard-use really. It's more just for keeping my sanity after a 3 hour class. Nothing more soothing than the snap of an a/o... over.... and over.... and over.... :D

Every day it's my Vic Midnite Minichamp on keys. Clipped in pocket is either a Spyderco G10 Caly3 or G10 Dragonfly. Oh I forgot, if I'm carrying the Caly3 I also keep either a Spydie Grasshopper or H1 Ladybug in front right pocket.
