Is there anywhere to post WTB and how much I have and what type of tasks I do? I could only find people selling knives. So many choices in this range it's hard to recommend anything specific. I'll second the suggestion look at Spyderco closely. People love the PM2. I find it a little too large to EDC (I work in an office).
Another option would be to be patient and buy a couple of different things used, preferable very used. You can likely get your money back on the knives you don't like and it allows you to get experience with a few different styles before spending on a new one. A used one may also be your keeper knife.

Not much at all. I like having a 3-inch blade for legal reasons locally, but the edge length is about 2.64 inches, due to the great forward choil taking up some length. Some 3-inch blades will have more cutting length. It doesn’t have a captured pivot, but few of my knives do.Anything you dont like about it ?

It has much less of a hump on the blade spine than leaf-shaped Spyderco blades, but I can imagine the great ergonomics could be even better for my hand if that hump were smaller. That’s part of the inherent design with a Spydiehole, and I love that the height of the blade allows a very high flat grind, so I’m not sure how I’d change it.
I’d like full carbon fiber better than the CF on G-10, but I really like both the appearance and the texture of the handle surface as it is.
For a knife of this size and price, the Sage 5 is hard to beat for my use. I carry my Chaparral more because it’s so easy to carry even in a pants 5th pocket, but the Sage is more versatile and has a more substantial grip for harder use.
