folding edc for about 90$

I understand dude. Best thing to do is get a couple $35-45 knives and learn what you like best.

Some guys on here, a lot of them really, have a bunch of experience and knowledge when it comes to knives but when it comes down to it - it's so much about preference. Decent build, sharp blade, fair price is all the matters honestly and from there you just figure out what handles your life tasks best or looks most appealing and fits your tastes.

With the time you spent on here and obvious interest you ain't going to pick a horrible knife so now just have faith in what you pick and have some fun

As I´ve stated before. This is the ultimate edc! BM 707 Sequel. Look no further!

so you think itd be better to get a cheaper blade like lets say the native and use it for a while and if i like the build and quality of spyderco then get a pm2 later on or buy like a kershaw oso sweet or nerve and if i like their quality buy a s30v blur or even a zt later on? stuff like that? like get experence before i make a big expensive purchase

Not necessarily stay within the brand but it will give you a +1 or -1 for them in the future depending on how positive or negative the experience is. I had 5 good Spydies from 96/97-06 so even though I haven't bought one in a long time I check out what new models they have and consider them when I feel like (able to afford) a new knife.

Mostly see what handle shapes/sizes/textures work for you..thickness, length, contours, etc. blade shape and sizes. Some models that a bunch of people love and recommend I don't like at all, but you can only tell by experience with it or very similar knives. Some love ultra thin and ultra light, for me experience says that is great in pocket but thick and meaty folders are much better out of pocket and in use. Nobody is right or wrong but I don't buy thin linerlocks or framelocks, sexy as they can be.

While you are looking at Benchmades, consider their small Bone Collector version - the #15030. With a -2, ie, a 15030-2, you'll get the walnut handled one, bottom - below. That same size knife in two-part green/black G10, like the large variant (15020-1 top, below) or a solid black G10 (no dash - not shown) is available, too. They have 2.95" x .115" and 3.36" x .125" blades of D2 steel with AXIS locks. A new variant, which I haven't seen yet, is the 15050 - with it's 3.75" x .13" thumb nick deployed lock back blade. I have the two shown - and they make very serviceable EDC knives - if the skull logo doesn't put you off! Sadly, even with the discount, they are about ten or twelve bucks over your limit.

My wife liked the small one above so much, she wanted one, too! It's almost always in her purse.

Stainz

I like the small one too. Maybe even enough to buy one. Not today, though. Just spent $300 on knives yesterday.

Oops.:D

What happened to your blue Endura? Why don't you just carry that?

a week after i got it i realised my phone bill was due, and i completely forgot i even had to pay it so i had to send back the endura in order to have the 50 bucks to pay it.
