Folding knife lateral strength tests ?

Folding knife Lateral strength thread so far has a total of 138 posts.....including mine. Yet there have been no design suggestions to increase lateral

strength in a folding knife, no ideas, no brainstorming, no technical comments. That also says something.

The point is: does it need to be increased?

The knife is only as strong as it's weakest point. The blade.

There are plenty of overbuilt folder designs. Heavy duty hardware, thick handle slabs. Larger bearing surfaces. It's been done. There are generally design sacrifices involved.

There has been discussion, you just won't respond to it.

Maybe you should start another thread on folding prybar design.
