I have a foliage green kabar fighting knife that I don't ever touch. I bought it when I got back from Iraq and have only used it to open packages a few times in the past 8 years. Has minor wear on the blade from the sheath, but never been sharpened, hammered on, or used to cut anything other than the few packages.
Also, I have a nearly brand new Spyderco Tenacious. I have had it for 2 weeks, and carried it 3 times (thought it was stolen, wife had put it in the glove box and forgot). Will throw it in with the ka-bar to sweeten the deal for the right knife.
I would rate the blade a B (not perfect and no box) and will add some cash on top for a folding knife. I like flippers, but not limited to them.
