Another great bunch of pics Dave :) Nice Surf 'n' Turf! 😁👍
Thank you Jack.

A hearty, good looking sandwich, Jack.
Thanks Harvey, I'm sure I'm not the only one who looks forward to your mouth-watering posts! 😁😋🙂👍

That's a great-looking knife with your meat loaf sandwich

Mouth-watering bagel Harvey, and what a great-looking Lambsfoot :)

Sounds intriguing, and looks delicious :) You're a lucky man Dan :)

If that bakery was within sight of my back door, I think I might be savouring those scones EVERY morning Gary! :D ;)

Bahn Mi sandwich for lunch :)

TY Jack ✌️
Cant beat a meat loaf cheeseburger around a camp fire.

Exotic meal today. My wife's rendition of the chili con carne. She has been a professional cook and masters her art. Her recipe is a secret, she uses a finely dosed blend of peppers which includes the Espelette pepper from the Basque country. That's all what i know.
Highly comestible !

Dan.
That looks delicious! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
I don't think I've ever had a version of chili that I did not thoroughly enjoy. But I've had many people make fun of me because I like to put lettuce in my chili. So I'm glad to see that chili with lettuce is actually haute cuisine!:thumbsup: 🤓

I know what you mean, Jack; I never thought, when I heard that a popular local bakery planned to open another location practically next door to me, that it would turn into such a character-building exercise, teaching me about delayed gratification and self-control (as well as honing my budgeting skills). o_O 🤓

I finished breakfast not very long ago and I have no idea what is in a Bahn Mi sandwich, but your photo is making me wish I could try one very soon! 😁

GT,
You are a connoiser, lettuce is good with everything and particularly with spicy meals. The laughers don't know !

LOL! :D You kind have many fillings in a Banh Mi, or Bahn Mi (various other spellings). That one had a sort of braised tofu, cucumber, coriander, onion, and chilli sauce. Not sure what else, but it was tasty :)
Such a great photo Harvey! :D

I'm on my own this afternoon, so I'm having leftovers ;)

Here's a photo with some "produce" that had yet to become food "product"; I wouldn't simply "take a bite from" any of these: bananas, sweet potato (or yam, I don't know the difference), avocado, mandarins (or clementines, again, I don't know the difference).imp.toothpick.black.butte.jpg
Is it really "food" if it's currently "inedible"??
