Ah, those are dates in Tom's photo. :cool::thumbsup: I guessed they were prunes, which I haven't had for probably 60 years (and I don't recall ever eating raw dates).
I'm not sure I've actually eaten a prune :D Here's some more dates for you ;) :thumbsup:

Exotic meal today. My wife's rendition of the chili con carne. She has been a professional cook and masters her art. Her recipe is a secret, she uses a finely dosed blend of peppers which includes the Espelette pepper from the Basque country. That's all what i know.
Highly comestible !
