Footwear?

Chacos without socks until the 40s. Chacos with wool socks when it gets cold. Best footwear I have ever had. Great for water, climbing, hiking, etc. Were made in America too up until July - unfortunately they have sucumb to China manufacture - I bought a spare pair recently because they were made here.

Great shots QB! I was leary at first when I bought my Chaco's...reviews were either giving them an A or an F mostly due to fit. They are a little heavy, but the are bomb proof and once you break you feet into them (sole and straps can be a little abrasive...I just chalked it up to my tender feet:D), they are more than capable to handle water, rocks, hiking and streets.

Has anybody ever used Limmer boots? I've corresponded with the company to order a pair of their midweights, just wondering if anybody here has had any first hand experience.

I love my Asolo 520 GTXs. I wear them whenever in the woods. They’ve served me doing everything from hiking to backpacking to hunting to dog sledding to four-wheeling. Before this pair, I wore a pair of Asolo 535s into the ground. I’ve had great experiences with them.

Been a big fan of Blundstones since my first pair about 5 years ago.

Amazingly comfortable, tough construction and can be "dress casual"

These are the ones I have now.

For such a seemingly simple boot, they are indeed super comfortable. I love mine.

I had a problem with the straps too at first. Following the instructions on the box to proper adjustment made all the difference.

I usually use Rocky boots but last year my wife got my a pair of Wolverine Whitetail hunters  Most Comfy boot that I've worn, It feels like wearing sneakers ! The only problem I had was when I laced 'em up & used the ankle loop it didn't feel good on my ankles so I skip that loop when I lace them up & you couldn't ask for a more comfy boot for $99

I hike in a pair of zamberlan Vios GT boots.Best boots I have ever worn period.I know it sounds crazy to say but my feet feel "happier" in them. After 4 straight days of hiking the fundy Footpath the only part of me that wasn't sore was my feet.
At camp I just wear a pair of those foam crocks.light weight and comfortable easy to pack.
