for a knife

I look the same time in the internet other reviews. For the Kabar the thruth is that i read only one review with blade play...but buck hunter has this problem. I think that the best choice is kabar dozier hunter. Is small to have it in your pocket, has good lock (awarded i think), open and close easy, sharp blade, lightweight and in very low price for its quaity. The Kabar put it in military & tactical knives...maybe for the design.

Again...if you know the Buck Bantam has the problem...why ask us about it?

The Kabar Dozier Folding Hunter is an excellent, inexpensive knife that I own and highly recommend. That said, that does not mean you will be able to "...make holes in hard objects, and yesterday to open a locked wooden box" with it without the risk of mechanical failure. It's not made of magic stuff.
