I made this up and thought there might be someone out there looking for a point or blade to mount primitive like. It measures 4" overall and .125 thick. It has a nice double grind on it. 58-59RC and very sharp.

Price: $60.00 plus shipping, Paypal only please.

Paramecium, you got it... PM sent. ... I will make some more and post them for you other guys...ok.

I think a longer tang and maybe two holes would attract more buyers. I'd want a spear head that wouldn't shift around on my handle. I like your blade shape, and the fluted tang, keep that flute on a longer tang. Seems like a handle would work in several configurations that way. Fluted on one side would allow to strap it to a broomstick. The two holes would allow it to be inserted into a slotted handle, held with bolts or cordage. It could also have cordage attached to one hole and the shaft could be broken or lost while the spear is still tied to the user, ala spear fishing.

Well, all good ideas.... and I could design up a real high tech beauty for you guys... but the price would be out of reach for most, ...... I wouldn't even make back the money for my CAD design time. Let's do it!! lol

I'd love to see the high tech, but 3-4 inches of tang and a couple of lash holes and I'm set. Always exciting seeing something develop online.

I will start a drawing later today after it cools down a little. But remember, the longer tang will double the price of the steel! And S30V is not real cheap.....

I think that if you put these out in 1095 (or some other carbon steel), the outdoor/survival guys would buy a ton of them. The ESEE Arrowhead is popular and yours is SO much better for a survival item, IMO. The carbon steel would be easier to sharpen in the field, if needed, and cheaper to produce with the longer tang.

Hmmm... I will see if I have any 1095 lying around... I do have 100 lbs of D2 in 1/8" and 3/16" plate out there just looking for a project... I can draw it back to spring temper from 65 rc, but it has allot of carbon, and chromium in it ...I was wanting to do a bunch of big slip joints with that. Hmmm... I can always buy it I guess.. I do have a 1095 1 1/2"W X 1/4"Thick bar 12" or so long out there... better to make a big bowie out of that though...
