Photos For the love of Lockbacks! (Traditionals only)

At first I thought this as just another novelty thing. Then I noticed the stamp as I do know of the company, so I bit on it. Upon arrival, I was impressed as Jeff-mamba mentions above. Very little to no rock or play unless forced, and one of the sharpest blades and smoothest actions of any factory knife I’ve owned. Pinchable, tight snap and lock up. A slim yet hefty number.

It’s not a photo but close enough - a film showing the semi automised manufacturing of EKA 88. Maybe it will interest someone.
The EKA 88 is one of few Swedish folders, made by the classical knife company EKA in the city of Eskilstuna. They’ve been making folders since the late 18 hundreds but I assume the robots are somewhat newer, although they look pretty old too 😊
