Photos For the love of Lockbacks! (Traditionals only)

The Case Tribal Lock still my favorite lockback so far!

I'm glad that it hasn't been discontinued. I got mine last year as a package deal with a mini-minimag flashlight and was impressed with it. I had written Gerber off as another American company who was a name only for off shore produced stuff.
Besides, if you read it on the internet, it must be true, eh? :p
I got mine the same way and have had the exact same positive experience with it.

Made in the USA is important to me.

Now THIS is a good lockback! Case 21051 LSSP from 1977 (XX U.S.A. with three dots)

Basic stainless lockback with black Delrin(?) covers. Cleaned it out and oiled it and it's smooth as silk. The edge needed some love but is now shaving sharp. Stupid sharp. I like this steel.

They need to bring this one back! I'd be all about it with some killer bone or even black micarta. Imagine that with crimson bone or Cayenne... Oh baby!

I made the slip for the BF knife and didn't like the squeeze open fit. The Case fits it perfectly!

I actually got this for my future B.I.L. because he needed a real knife... Its going to be hard to give it up now... 😁

In a recent post I wrote, "Made in the USA is important to me." That is still true while at the same time country of origin is crucial to me. So I try and pay attention to where my money is going.
Fallkniven is a Swedish company who's U2 is made by Moki of Japan. Awesome knife, beautiful countries.
