Photos For the love of Lockbacks! (Traditionals only)

This was sold as NOS from the 1980s. It's a very well made knife. Fit and finish is impeccable. Solid lock. The blade spine is rounded which at first was strange but it's actually a really nice detail. Grind is perfect. Stupid sharp.

4" closed. 3 1/8" tip to bolster. 3/8"(ish) thick handle. Blade is a bit under 1/8" thick so I'm guessing it's probably 3mm stock.

The covers look like black plastic but it is some sort of layered phenolic resin kind of like paper micarta. Gives it a nice subtle detail to spot when fiddling around with it.

I dunno, it was an impulse buy a while back and it was completely worth it. Very nice knife. Thin, pocketable, sharp and very pointy.
