For the Whiskey drinkers. Whiskey Rocks!

I showed these to my son and he asked if they could be made to look more like a natural stone.

If you want to send me your shipping address, Ill send your son a good handful of polished 'natural' stones. :p
I tumble polish all kinds of rocks, petrified wood, agates, jasper, obsidian, etc.
Ive got about a gallon jar full I dont know what to do with.

Ill be sending some out with every whiskey rocks purchase! :D
 
I think the question was more about getting whiskey stones with a "natural" stone look (as opposed to sort of looking like marshmallows)
Could you post a pic with something for size perspective (a whiskey glass, if you've got one). I think/hope they look bigger than they really are.
 
Sure. I can do that. Ill get some pictures tonight and will be able to post them in the morning, when im back at work.

The cubes will be about 1" tall and 1" thick.
I can rough them up with a hammer and tumble them longer to get more of a natural look.

That's a very generous offer and I'll take you up on that when I place an order. hhmoore has it right, my older son is 23 and appreciates good whiskey as much as his dad does. My baby boy has a fascination with rocks and often has a pocket full after a hike. I'm interested in a couple sets that look more natural and less like an ice cube. Thanks for making these available, looking forward to getting a few.

Great quality, shiny but not over polished, clean, and unique.

That's a pretty good representation of the scale of the Whiskey Rocks to.
 
The next batch of these will hopefully be ready by Friday.
Ive only been letting them tumble at night from 6pm-6am, so that I have better control over the process.
Right now we're on the 600 grit stage.
I have 1,000 grit left to go.

Ok, next batch just finished up and I ended up with 8 sets of Whiskey Rocks.
That's about all im able to tumble at one time.

The first six posts who said they were down to try some will be receiving a PM shortly for shipping addresses.
I say six posts because some said they wanted 2 sets.
 
Ok fellas. Im gonna post some pics of this next batch I have made up.
I took pics of the stones wet and dry so you can get a good picture of what youll be receiving.
The darker colored stones tend to lighten up when their dry and turn a darker color when wet.
