For those of you who DO NOT have a Buck as your EDC, what do you carry?

Confusion....
The confusion started with the OP.

Apparently he's unaware what forum he's in.

Lots of folks on the BCCI Facebook page got reprimanded for posting non Buck knives.
So I guess now we're going to do it here.

You posted plastic knives in the thread. Buck would be mad they aren't stamped with their logo! Now that the thread has been moved to GKD I guess you’re fine, although being a knife collector forum, your EDC of choice looks a bit amateur.

I wasn't going to post other brand knives.
That WAS the point.

Lighten up.....?
It's called humor.
😁

Sorry, I say in a serious tone.

After the plastic knives were posted youada thunk it wooda sunk in but no he takes it up a few more notches.

And yes the bcci page has rules that state it clearly like most name brand items. How about free advertising for the competition. Duh !

I guess I'd never thought about this way before, but roughly 98.7% of the content in the thread below is dedicated to answering this question. That's an impressively high success rate for a question in the General. ;)

I can’t definitively speak for the OP but his other posts imply that he was wanting to know what the usual Buck Sub-forum members carry if they’re not carrying a Buck knife. (Hence why it was posted in the Buck Forum). The title is a little misleading but makes sense if you think of it as “If you don’t have your Buck knife as your EDC today, what are you carrying?”

THANK YOU! That was my intent but the extremists thumped me for it... LOL. Intolerance condescending attitudes are always so unattractive 😏 I knew about the EDC XIII thread. I was curious what Buck enthusiasts would carry if not a Buck. Oh well I better get back with the program...Buck Buck Buck Buck , Buck Buck buck buck...

I don't think I own, or have ever owned a knife by Buck. Gasp!

Yesterday was my Pro-Tech Malibu for Maliblue Monday. Today, Biryukov #12 for Titanium Tuesday.

I was not aware of this custom or whatever it is, but by chance I carried a blue Malibu on Monday, too. Do we have a standard theme for each day of the week? Or does everybody choose their own themes? WE Wednesday? 14C28N Friday? Do we get brownie points or gold stars for carrying correct knives? What about months? Joker January? Al Mar April? Olamic October?

I just got off work, sort of. I'm too tired to think. Deejo December.

I'm in too much pain to sleep, these drastic weather and temperature changes are killer.

It started with Micarta Monday, Titanium Tuesday, Wooden Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, and Carbon Fiber Friday, then I made up Wharncliffe Wednesday and it snowballed.

My favorite is Carbon Fiber Fancy Foreign Front Flipper Framelock Friday.

Here's my Beautiful Biryukov in CPM-S125V, most expensive knife I own.

Lol. From what I saw, nobody thumped you, nobody was intolerant or condescending.

Nobody even bashed your choice. Not even one butterfly joke.

You had to realize posting a question like that in a brand specific sub forum was asking for trouble.

I posted a question about a Chinese Schrade in the Schrade forum and was treated about the same. I made a mistake I owned it without making snide remarks. Or insulting people and I didn’t bring up Nazis.

Looking back some things must have been edited. So I don’t know how ugly it got.

Those BUCK guys can be a bit rambunctious. I ran with them for several years and always enjoyed it. They are just real passionate about their knives, not unlike the CRK guys and others.
To answer the OP question…
When I was a Buck guy ( 40 + years) I collected and carried BUCK for 35 of it before branching out. Today I think I still own 1 maybe in a drawer or glove box and carry CRK and CPK depending on task.
