Up for trade is an old spec. Survive! knives GSO 4.1.
Steel is CPM-3V
Camo green micarta handles with bow-divot.
Blade has jimping and a ferro-notch.
Comes with black-kydex sheath and vertical carry leather dangler.
I purchased this used from the original owner.
He didn't seem to take care of it, and perhaps had it stored damp or wet.
There is no rust on the blade, but there does seem to be some petina. See photos. Some near the edge and underneath the scales.
Also I questioned him about the edge and he assured me that it had a factory edge. From his initial photos I could see that it may have been chipped. He described the knive as lightly used but it look like he may have chopped into a nail or a rock. While it is minor, he claimed he didn't see anything.
Survive! knives says they can resharpened the knife if you send it in with a means for return shipping.
I had considered getting a wicked-edge sharpening system and resharpening myself to remove the chip, but haven't plunged to buy the system yet as I am shopping around.
Looking to trade for a new, or like-new Old Spec. Survive! GSO 3.5 with ferro notch, in either steel, handles don't really matter.
Please PM me or email marcuslarencewong@gmail.com with offers
I have pre-ordered last June a new Spec GSO 4.1 as well and am interested in trading for the above mentioned knife.
