I thought seeing ice on Lake Superior in late June was extreme.....

Same here. We hit 100° Wednesday & Thursday, but it only made it up to 99° yesterday, so there's that.

Snow removal and surface chemicals are something I gladly accept over being too hot! Plus, we don't even get that much snow in my part of Indiana. It gets well below 0F every year, but I'd rather have that than be sweaty!

I used to be able to force march through steaming swamps, or carry a 40 lb pack up & down mountains in the jungle. I don't tolerate the heat very well anymore. I'd rather plow snow than mow grass.
