Thank you VERY MUCH for your advice.
As it turned out I couldn't wait and ordered one paper wheel (not the set) and I ordered a slotted wheel. Oh well I suppose it will work. I will probably use the 6 micron on it and then once I get another wheel or two then put the 15 micron or the 250 grit on the slotted one.

Have you done any testing with newer high-impact ceramics such as the Spyderco Mule Team HIC?
 
Not yet.
Maybe someone sends me one of these for sharpening, we'll see.
Swiss company Rahven makes these HIC mules for Spyderco, and their own kitchen series is currently on sale.
