Forged and filed

Here is one i did forged to shape, then draw filed and hand sanded. i did use my drill press for the guard and the tang hole. It goes really quick once you get onto it. I won't say that i will do every knife this way but it is kinda fun once in awhile to just see how far you can push your own abilities by turning the power off.

I received a question about Godzilla this morning. Basically the question was asked if Godzilla can do more than one trick. With little modification Godzilla can be made to talk and even roll over.

My Godzilla barks when it wants a steel treat to chew on.

Nice example. :)

It shows that just because it's "handmade" doesn't necessarily mean it's crude, inefficient or “primitive“.

Not to mention that you know how to keep working even if the power is off. The work shouldn't end at the wall socket.

Nice job! :)

Forging and filing are really two of my most valuable and reliable skills.

I can live without a belt grinder,... but only because I know my hammer and my file.

Tai, I made Godzilla to resemble its maker. :D Stout and sturdy.

Here's a few blades that I have been working on over the last few weeks. Godzilla was just used on the tangs of these blades. The large on is the most recent. 14 1/2" of blade. Now to see if I can make it straight......
