I forged this one from a Nicholson file. I have had a piece of it laying around for a while and I thought I would use this piece. I normally use known steel, but I have had good luck with Nicholson files heat treated like 1095. I hand sanded this to 1000 grit and etched it to reveal the hamon.

The handle is made from camatillo. It is a rosewood I picked up at a knife show. It is the first time I used it. It shines up nicely and is very dense. It has been faceted and shaped to fit the hand well. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.

The sheath is 7-8oz hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It holds the knife securely and still allows for an easy draw.

Dimensions
Blade - 3" tip to handle
OAL - 6 5/8"

Price - $195 shipped to US. I will ship internationally for an additional fee.

I have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it!" gets it.

That's a LOT of knife for the price - great package Matthew
