I forged this out of a piece of W1 roundbar a while ago. I just got around to finishing it up. This is my first full tang integral and the handle fit up was a bit of a challenge.
The blade is clay coated and quenched for a nice hamon. It was hand sanded to 1000 grit and etched.
The handle is african blackwood. It has been shaped to fit the hand well and has been faceted and polished to a nice luster. It is held in place with epoxy and pins.
The sheath is hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. It fits the knife well and draws easily.
Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/2" tip to integral sweep
OAL - 9 3/4"
Price - sold. shipped to US
I will have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it!" gets it.
