Forged in Fire

What was impressive was the complete lack of histrionics you DON'T engage in. Slowly, carefully, deliberately you work your way to the finals....

Walk softly and carry a BIG mace...! :)

Of all of the contestants I've seen, you were pretty much about the most composed and professional of the bunch, no emotional responses, just a calm demeanor. A cool head, Mark. Again, fine job, nice payday, I think someone earlier said a renegotiation was in order with the woman of the house, LOL.

Great work, too, of course!

Bob

I know they can't put everything in but I was just a little disappointed the didn't show the hidden dagger I put in the handle, embellishments I put on the weapon and the testing I did at home. Here's some close-ups of the weapon. Thanks again everybody.

When the weapon was done I tested it on moose leg bones, galvanized, corrugated roofing steel, coconuts and a half manikin that I made. When I cut one of the coconuts, it spun up on one end and I picked it up and drank out of it.

It was a blast, thanks a lot again everybody.

That is incredible work for one week in the shop. It looks like it would take a month.

Thanks for the off camera "extras"! I do find they sometimes don't spend enough time showing the finer details of the weapons. I would have loved to see Doug pull the dagger out on the dummy at the last minute! Congratulations! Really enjoyed the episode.

Congrats Mark! Impressive work and some high compliments from the judges.

The 'other guy' seemed a little too excited by the kill testing. Yikes.
