You may think this is just a novelty blade, but it's a serious cutter. The wrench is a USA brand and the steel really reacts well to heat treat. It shows a nice transition line from the quench and passed some very tough cutting tests. It is edge quenched, light etch, vine file work on the spine and feels good in the hand. The handle wrap is dyed rawhide. Open end is 7/8". Does come with custom fit sheath.

Put that baby in a belt sheath, and everyone will simply assume you are carrying a wrench. Great Idea. Any idea of what the steel is, or the RC hardness? Do you have a pic of it in the sheath?

I'm not really sure about the steel. Hammers a little like W2 and does show a nice transition line from the oil quench. RC will be around 59. I cut kiln dried pecan for 1/2 hour and then cut cardboard for another 1/2 hour and it would still shave my arm. That's my normal testing and the edge has to roll over the brass rod and not chip. Will post the sheath in the morning. It's finished, but I forgot to take a picture.
