This is a hand forged tomahawk/trade axe. Made using the wrap&weld method. The body is mild steel and the cutting bit is L-6 left with a forge finish. The cutting edge is appx 3 1/4" wide and the head is 5 1/4" long. Stamped with our touchmark. The haft is burned,stained hickory coated with boiled linseed oil. The hawk/axe arrived safe and sound. It's a beauty, just what I was looking for! Great size and weight, excellent workmanship! Can't wait to take head out to the woods and and have some fun learning about all she can do. Thanks.
