Forty Dollar 4 Max Unbelievable!

It’s a heck of a knife at twice that much! Definitely my new favorite… besides the Elite version I snagged here recently. The Scout version I have is actually smoother operating and has a sharper point on it.

I bought one on sale from the site kreole mentioned a while back just to check out the lock after seeing a crazy Joe X video with it. The knife is amazingly stout and lock up is so strong/tight, and yet the blade opens smoothly and the edge came very sharp. It definitely would be on my list of most knives for the buck.

Yep. Great deals on Cold Steel if you check the site frequently. The last one I purchased was fifty, and I thought that was low. 5 Max is also; actually, 25 dollars less now, than I initially paid. Happy knife-shopping guys!

I thought about getting a couple to get the free shipping, but it was only $8 with just the one.

Here you go Gravel. The 5 Max is considerably "larger". When I first got a 4 Max, I thought-it was a big-blade. Not so much anymore.

Currently, the 5 Max costs-less, than the 4 Max Elite. I knew; that I had to have-it, when I saw Jimislash wave-one around.

Thank you for posting the photos. It is so funny how they simply look like average sized folders. My first reaction when I held my 4MaxScout was holy cow this is a chonk. That 5 really dwarfs it.

I should get another 4 Max Scout at that price. I hope Cold Steel will come out with a 5 Max Scout soon. I definitely don't need it, but I'll buy it anyway.
