Ed,
Thank you for all you have done, and moving the 2008 project along.

I am very happy with Northwoods as the builder, and am definetly IN. Assuming Northwoods is selected, please move me from a maybe to committed for the 2008 forum knife.

Jay

I'd rather have the CSC knife but the Northwoods looks nice too. I'm getting one, regardless.

Hey there Ed,

First off, you are doing a fine job on this project, so thanks for that.

Maybe I missed something but what happened to CSC?. I still voted yes to Northwoods.

Question though:

Since Northwoods is basically just a Queen made knife commissioned by Northwoods as I recall, wouldn't it be prudent and more cost effective to inquire with Queen to give us a price quote to bulid this knife run instead?

Anthony

The Northwoods actually looks like it is going to be a very nice knife. I like the curves a lot. I also like the blade profile on the Northwoods. On a cheap working knife, like a Schrade, I would be glad to see 1095. On something more expensive, I believe that the
D2 might be better for preservation (I know, I speak sacrelige), but 1095 just means I have to take better care of it. I voted YES.

Hey Sunnyd I'm pretty sure that Northwoods supplies their own stag when it comes to knives. I have not seen Queen throw a knife out yet that has the same quality of material that Northwoods has been using.

Just a thought...:confused::)

I say YES and look forward to getting details for the extra cost of international shipping. Full steam ahead:thumbup:

I was under the impression that Northwoods was a division of Queen, I could be wrong. I do prefer the CSC knife and its more unique design, as well as its 440C blades, but I'm in regardless. I have no intentions of ever missing out on a BFC knife:D:thumbup::thumbup:

Ed, you're doing a great job, thanks for all the effort!!

Eric

I'm in, the Northwoods was my first choice to begin with! Looking forward to it and great work on all this!

I voted "yes," also. If the pattern were a Congress, I'd have asked for a "hell yes" option to be added to the poll, but hey... ;)

 Yessir!

I don't own a Northwoods or a stag stockman so let er rip.

I kinda liked the squarish bolsters but its all about the majority, that which embodies this forum...after all it's a Forum Knife. I'm in for this. advise with all the particulars. Aloha, MK
