Forumites Dissapoimt Me !!

okay, seriously. the gb&u is there to keep such things from spilling out over the various forums.

if you want to get oliver to your post, go ahead and post asking him to go there. but dont dredge up posts by/about him to do so.

Senor Brendan,

It's hard to believe that you weren't intending to light flames or pour salt on wounds when the title of this thread is "Forumites Dissapoimt Me !!".

Neither refund, nor exchange, nor refund and being able to keep the product appeased Mr. Plomion. He didn't get what he paid for and the matter couldn't be corrected before he was sent off to his deployment. The first part of that disappointment was due to an error on the part of Himalayan Imports; the second part was not due to a Himalayan Imports-generated error. Were Uncle Bill and Yangdu supposed to call Mr. Plomion's commanding officer and have his deployment date pushed out until the new khukuris arrived? That's the only thing they didn't have the power to do (unless Uncle Bill is not only the president of Himalayan Imports, but also the commander of NATO and other EU and UN troops) and the actions of Mr. Plomion strongly suggest that the only reason he'd never buy another HI khukuri again was because Uncle Bill was too lax in his effort to grant Mr. Plomion enough extra pre-deployment time to exchange his khukuris.

My only knowledge of Mr. Plomion comes from these forums and, frankly, I believe he was right to feel very disappointed, but he was out of line to whip up an unappeasable tantrum in the Cantina. If nothing short of shipping Kumar and his forge to Mr. Plomion's living room the instant he asked was going to bring peace, Mr. Plomion should either have tried letting it go, if possible, or airing his grievance in GB&U.

Lets not stir this pot again folks, its done! Now that Nemo has opened old sores, thanks bro! :grumpy:
