Here are some really nice fossil walrus ivory bark scales. The colors are all natural, they come from the minerals in the soil where the tusks have been buried for 500 to as much as 13 thousand years. The accepted term we use is "Fossil" but technicaly they are not fossilized, none of the material has been replaced with rock, it is still all ivory. More correctly it is "ancient Ivory". That's the good news, because we can still work it with all of our regular tools and abrasives. Many experienced knife makers agree that ancient walrus ivory is the most stable of all of the ivories that we commonly use, much better than mammoth or elephant ivory, it has spectacular colors and textures and they ain't making the stuff no more. These are the reasons it is so expensive and sought after. The prices shown will be plus shipping. I am happy to combine orders to save you on shipping. I am happy to answer any questions, I charge only the actual amount for shipping, I ship U.S. flat rate priority. This material is guaranteed to be legal and satifaction is guaranteed, if you find it does not work for you when you get it in your hand, return it for your purchase price, please do that within 7 days. Thanks for looking Mark
