Take it home and put it in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes. When you take it out scrape anything off that is left with a semi dull instrument (back of a butterknife). Then bleach the crap out of it and let it sit outside for awhile. If I was you I would look along the water for a piece of nice drift wood to mount it to.

Yeah my mistake, it is definitely a Deers skull, check out this pic I found of a Deers on the net and then compare it to another of the one I found below it....

I found a cat skull in the woods once. A bird skull too. Bleached them, and they now have a place of honor on my shelf. Makes a great conversation piece.
