Found BladeForums and THIS happens...

OK, Phenn. Now it's time to start collecting some traditionals! Check out the Barlows threads here, and the GEC website. Dare ya!

I am a fan of the SAGE and the Caly series; love the Chaparral as well.
Spyderco is king under $250, IMO.
Owned a bunch; sold a bunch; keeping the favorites.

Head over to "traditionals" and tell everyone to buy Spyderco. Dare Ya! ;)

Welcome aboard!
That's a great collection you've got started. Looks like you still need a military though. :-)

Nice collection!

Yes - BF is not a place that will help you reduce your addiction to knives, not at all!

Not all bad, it keeps many of us out of trouble. ;^)

I wonder if Sal sees a thread like this and says....."I'm going to Hawaii."

j/k.....but I bet he smiles.

Welcome to the forum! You're the only other person I've seen who owns one of those Beretta folders (one at the bottom of the last pic in your first post with the portions cut out of the blade). Can't remember what it's called but I bought one about 15-20 yrs ago and still have it int he box, unused.

Yeah? I've had mine for about the same time. I've tried to figure out just what knife model it is with no real success. It was the first folder I bought with my own money as a kid, and I EDC'd it for years. It is a solid little knife for sure.

I had to go dig it out of my knife tool kit. It's called the Beretta Airlight. I've got the small version with the black FRN type handle, yours looks to be metal? When I bought mine I didn't know about Spyderco, Benchmade, etc but was familiar with the Beretta name so figured it had to be good stuff. I've never used it so can't comment on the quality/durability per say.

Did you know there's an automatic version of the vallotton look it up on YouTube bhq has some in Stock.

I did see that. Given how fast the blade snaps open without it, I couldn't justify the extra $250. But it definitely makes for an epic mod.

I've been a microtech fan forever and 1 month ago I bought a spyderco, and now it's like crack. I own 21 now. Their fantastic!

Been carrying the PM2 alongside my Native. But I definitely have the itch for a Manix. I feel like the Manix is the big brother to the Native in blade style and ergos. I like the PM2 for sure...I even have custom TI scales coming for it. I just like symmetry with my knives to much to not want a Manix. Besides, saw it pop up on the TV show White Collar...
