Found the perfect knife, but too expensive. What's yours?

My gift to myself after I get a raise will be an Andrew Demko AD-10 in Elmax. That is a beefy knife and just looks business and hard work.

No such thing as "too expensive". If you want it, save up for it. Give up your instant gratification purchases for a bit incuding less expensive knives, booze, smokes, restaurant meals, etc., and buy what you really want. You could also sell off some of your lesser treasures.

Bagwell bowie, can afford one, can't bring myself to buy one, maybe someday. I've got guns worth more, but there's still a barrier for me with knife buying, and I think that's probably at my limit.

I keep telling myself i will never need to buy a knife at this price.....that's only so i don't start making excuses to buy it now rather than when i am better able to afford it.

This ^^

Or a custom by Peter R, although I have to say, those Damascus handles are gorgeous. Wonder if Peter R can do a Damascus-steel frame-lock... I'll have to ask someday when I'm richer.

The upcoming Becker knives tentatively called "tweeners", will be my perfect knives. And they definitely will not be expensive.

Mine is a Strider PT CC.
It has been my grail knife since i started collecting but never seem to find one! I mean, i have found it but wether it was unreasonably too expensive or the guy never answered back:(
Wish i could get one. Any offers?:D

I'm good.

In the last year or so I've added a couple of CRK's; a few ZT's; more BM's; even an MT! Oh - and a beautiful Arno Bernard. What more could a mere mortal want? I guess maybe a Buck/Ron Hood Hoodlum - he was quite a guy. I'll likely tire of Ramen noodles...

Seriously, maybe it's time I followed Cheryl Crowe's suggestion, "It's not having what you want... it's wanting what you have...".

Stainz

I look at so many that I want, but not too many of them are the higher priced ones .. yet..
