It is a plausible and good design. The blade appears to be of a good design for basic woodcraft, and the steel is a good choice as well. I don't really care for the scale color on the handle but it does serve a good purpose. I never have warmed up to kydex sheaths. The way the firesteel is included is a plus. However personaly I use a strikeforce which supplies much more mishmetal and includes a tinder compartment.
