Four Blems

Thanks for the mineral oil advice. You are probably right about fixing the crack before oiling.

ndoghouse (love the name)... I will def take your advice, I just mixed up a little batch tonight to fix the sheath on a Suga I received today. The flap inside the inner mouth was flares open but a little epoxy and a toothpick to apply it and all is well. Pictures coming tomorrow Kumar did an amazing job on the Suga. I know the Ang Khola by Bhakta should be amazing .

... by the way - ndoghouse- what blades you have in your profile picture??? Any more photos/closer description of these sometime available to see???
Those Blades are called Giant Chitlangi Bowies and they are truely beautiful. Very rare blade and they wreak of power!

I had to give one of them up because two of them are just too much glory for one man to behold. Pugs75 owns the wood handle one now which makes me feel much better;)

Cool! Glad you got it fixed up! Pretty easy fix eh? Sometimes you have to trim a bit of the leather in the corners to get it just right.
Ive used the ndoghouse name since before the internet existed. Before internet there were bulletin boards you could post on and chat back and forth. It is very fitting now that im collecting Khuks because thats where im at most of the time anyway:D
Kumar is a great Kami and im so glad to have him back. Bhakta as well and that AK is perfect. It should be a real treat for ya! Kumar suga? I thought Padam made the Sugas? I dont have one yet but will one day. Gotta get out of the doghouse first. Once my Reti file knife arrives ill try to be a better dog! May she'll let me on the porch:rolleyes:

Thank you very much for posting these beauties here!!!! Now-that's what you call a knife...!!! Busse MOAB "Mother of all blades"-would seem like theirs little daughter:):):)

Got the done deal! My first HI. I saw that one too gbh2 but was a little to late. I am looking forward to the triangular box that defies the laws of time, to be delivered.

DD on the KLVUK.... I gotta say it was a good day!
Any handle refurb wizards out there??? Ha!

Put a little superglue over the crack. While wet, Sand from outside in and the dust will mix into the superglue and press into the crack.
The crack will disappear.
