Since I've been here at the Busse forum I've seen lots of photos including our four-legged family members, so in keeping with OTE's earlier thread (welcome Buddy!) I figured I'd start a Busse pet photo thread.

Post pics of your pets and share some info with us. I've seen some beautiful animals on here. I'm sure most of us who have animals would love to share them with our hog brethren.

GordyandDori.jpg

This is my boy Gordy with his girlfriend Dori (He's got a thing for the forgetful types:D). I got this guy from a breeder in Tampa a couple months before starting chemo. He was to be my partner while I was sick, and he turned out to be the best friend I could ever have asked for. When I was laid up on the couch or in bed he was right there with me. We spent about two months straight watching nothing but the Starz Westerns channel. I swear, after a while he started LOOKING like Lee Van Cleef. :D

Gordy has the perfect disposition for a pet: friendly, loving, relaxed and loyal. After about 8 months of just him and I during the long days, I knew he was going to have a tough time being alone when I returned to work, so Wifey and I drove up to the same breeder in Tampa to pick him up a little companion. It turns out that they had a little girl (about 9 weeks) from the same dam and sire (11 champions in the bloodline), and she was beautiful. We picked up Luna in late July, and they've been together ever since.

This is them on their way to the grandparent's house. I did NOT put the shirts on them. That was all their mother's doing.

If Gordy is Lee Van Cleef, then Luna is definitely Eli Wallach. This one is total attitude and superoverhyperaffectionate to the point that she fights her brother for lovin'. They get along wonderfully, though, and balance each other well. She's a mama's girl, to boot. So I have Gordy and Wifey has Luna. We make a great fam, and I hope they adapt perfectly when...

Show's up. That right there is Isabella Sofia...soon to be heiress to the hearts of myself and my wife...and Gordy and Luna of course. Luna seems to know there's a little someone in there as lately she wants to rest her ears against Wifey's tummy. Just a bit earlier she was actually pushing her ears against Wifey's belly. Dogs are funny.

Anyway, here's a last shot of my brother-in-law, Justin, with his and my sister's black lab Lucien, my parents' rat terrier, Jack Bauer, and my boy Gordy.

Now bust out your furry friends and share some stories.

Regards,

Jason

Isabella Sofia that is a beautiful name and that girl is gonna steal your heart. Congrats on that.

Back on topic I posted a pic in the other thread but here is another one of Sammy. He is a Toy poodle and is like our youngest child. He is very smart and loving. Like I said in the previous thread I never imagined having a lap dog but thats what my little girl(Jessie) wanted so thats what we got. I also have pretty bad allergies and he is hypoallergenic does not shed and never smells bad. All around a pretty cool little guy. Cool thread J thanks for starting it.

Enjoy,
Lee

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :D

That's what I call myself, too. Husky. :D:D:D
Funny thing, though, is that his chest is still beautifully muscled. Great dog. My parents' Jack is a nutcase. Incredibly hyper, superfast, and agile as Porsche.

Btw...I'm glad there's at least a couple other guys on here so far that have smaller dogs. After Ol' IronBalls posted pics of those two golems I started feeling a little "inferior" :D

Fantastic dogs, people. Steel...that pic of the puppy being held up is just cute as hell.

Lee...the Schnauzer breed (all sizes) is "hypo-allergenic" as well. That's why we went with them.

Trevor...good lookin' ladies you got there. I bet they're great on romps.

This is my kinda thread I am a dog freak. For example I was driveing down the highway the other day saw two loose dogs in traffic spent the better part of my morning catching them.. I did get a tearful thank you when the animal control officer told the lady who owned the one dog that some idiot spent a few hours in the freezeing cold chaseing her dog around. She actually found out my name and came to thank in person..I felt good she said I saved her kids Christmas:D

Well here is my boy sorry if this gets long but he is my best friend .. His name is JACK he is a Dogo Argentino some of these pics are when he was young. He is 5 years old.

Here's my dog Cassius (a boxer) at Halloween a few years back. He's not especially picky about who he snuggles up with so long as he thinks he's getting some attention. :p

Can't tell anyone what these guys--known hereabouts as "Da Wild Boyz"--mean to me! First is the elder brother, Moody Blues, my blue Doberman:

And Chaco, my fawn Doberman:

I know I've posted them before, but they are my friends, my protectors, my best buds. I've read lots of loving tributes to our four-legged friends, but when it comes to writing one I am without words, except to say how grateful I am for them in my life!

Heres my labradoodle lol. Hes got a mohawk going down his full body and is one of the smartest dogs I have ever came across.

Here is another one of Buddy. BTW, he also appears to be a natural birder. I know Joe mentioned something about that in the other thread. He seems especially fond of the White Winged Doves we have around here. Duck and pheasant hunting will likely be in his future!

JParanee, those pics are great!

I love how your dog looks so alert and attentive, ready for the hunt then you follow up with the pic where he almost looks embarrassed....to be wearing his reindeer antlers!

That's classic! Well done!

Dillon on the left, Caleb on the right.

Lot's of attitude in a short package.

Fifi (left) and Pard. She's a Bouvier des Flandres from back east. Pard came from death row at the local shelter. He's half Sharpei and half Husky.

Heres my Guard dog a long haired Chihuahua, he weighs in at about 4.5 pounds of attitude.
