He is my brother from a furrier mother:D

Not to pry, but I have been researching dogos for the better part of a year now and I was wondering what breeder you were working with, either from your original pup and/or the mother of your newborn?

That looks like a fine animal you have there!

I'm sorry, but this is a Busse knife forum... With the exception of Murray (Rob Stanley's dog, seems he owns an ASH-1, lolz) so far, how many of you can boast that your pets are Busse fans too???
Well... I can!

I had a dog once, a Springer spaniel who's name was Sarah when I was young. After her passing from an aggressive cancer, I never wanted another dog again. She was my best friend and constant companion her entire life, and I still miss her even now. As I grew older, it seemed that cats began to seek me out and most of my friends who had cats never could understand how theirs would let me pet & handle them as if they were my own. It became evident that I'm a cat person, and so I began to adopt them into my life. After my last 2 Siamese cats passed away, I decided that while I was still young enough to enjoy having multiple cats, to adopt these 4 shelter cats of which 3 are all the surviving litter-mates from one litter, and the fourth (Syd) came from the same shelter. Syd's mannerisms tell me that she once had a home and a family, so I don't know how or why she wound up there. My theory is that she busted herself out... Prison Break style! The other 3 were born in the shelter after their mother was found, homeless & pregnant. All 4 are awesome pets, and I love spending time with them, and am glad I brought them into my home.

...But they have this thing about Busse's!!

This last shot was taken as she was rubbing up against the FBMLE. Being around cats as long as I have has taught me to not react strongly or make any sudden moves during moments like these, so I used the camera in my hands instead to capture the shot... But I got really nervous watching her through the lens!

Sneaky Sydney... She has a Houdini complex to go with her almost true black coat. Ninja cat! You know her best as my avatar. Yep, her eyes. These shots were taken shortly after her & Toby got into a a bit of a fight... The noticeable cut above her right eye has healed nicely.

Toby AKA Big Handsome... He's over 20 pounds, and very little is fat! One strong kitty, lolz. He's my monster.

Here’s my two.

The Australian Kelpie I rescued from being shot, she was a drovers dog, mainly cattle work. As there hadn’t been any work for her for 3 months, and being constantly on the chain, her fate was inevitable. She’s about doubled her weight here and now lives a life of luxury. :D

Of course, Stan the Ham is part of the fixtures. :D

Here's my dog Cassius (a boxer) at Halloween a few years back. He's not especially picky about who he snuggles up with so long as he thinks he's getting some attention. :p

That's effin' hillarious, Grim! :D

JP...that is one fine dog, brother. Looks to be in the staffordshire/boxer/pit family...is that so? Does it have the locking jaws? I can't get over how strong that dog looks. Fantastic!

Rob...Stanley is GINORMOUS! I remember when you first posted that pic of Murray standing next to the Mastiff. He must be about chest-high to you on his four, huh? With all that beautiful land around him, I'm sure he's a happy guy.

I think Jaxx crumbles catnip on his knives so he can catch pics.:D

Great pics, all. Thanks for sharing.

Here's Lacie Mae, a deaf and club footed rescue, and snake hunter extraordinaire (actually the score is something like: snakes 25, lacie 0, but she won't admit defeat...)

Have I mentioned how much he dislikes squirrels...

Whaddya do, strap a jetpack to this guy's ass? He must run at ludicrous speed.

Sometimes (most of the time) I help him out w/a little bit of .22 cal action... then he finishes them off and retrieves for me. More than one squirrel has left blood on his bottom lip. Must be why he hates squirrels so much. :D
