You might want to "play" with an internal before you lay out lots of cash - I have one of the K.I.S.S. Tantos - it is fun to play with but only for a right handed person- I doubt a southpaw would ever be able to love it. Some of the others have cut outs to allow your thumb to pass into the liner to open the lock - which side is it on - is it ambidextrous and comfortable - Try before you buy is good advise I'm told - and it would seem to fit here. -
As far as the KISS is concerned - I'd rate it "ok" but not great - edge holds up well - and not too difficult to sharpen - but tends to cut on a slope. ): only opened a little bit once or twice when I shoved it into my hip pocket.
Try a few out at your local neighborhood knife shop !
