Hey Dylan, i have sent you emails in the past but havent heard back, please let me know if you received.
 
That's a hell of a storm, going on 5 months.

Seriously though, the troubling part are the excuses. Family health, weather, blame the shipping service, customer not responding to emails.

No more excuses. Admit fault and get the knives out or post refunds. This is real simple.
 
The members here that have money tied up in this situation, should ask for refunds, and start their own threads here in the GBU, to document their efforts. After looking at Francisco’s web site through these months, it looks like new knives are being sold off the site. If this is the case, our members may be in for a long wait. Lack of truth, and communication are not positive ways to convince buyers of one’s good character.

I agree, the thread title stating "Problem Resolved" while it is true for the op it's not for others.

I've removed the "resolved" portion of the thread title as the matter remains open for several of our members.
 
Unfortunately, I'll have to dogpile. Ordered a ko-gyuto from his website in May 2024 and swapped to a k-tip chef a month later. Still waiting on getting tracking information.
 
Been waiting for a tracking number, received Friday. I’ll let you guys know how it turns out🤔
 
Been in contact since early this year, and I just got my knives in the past few week. Have faith guys I don't think you are being scammed he's just slow with it all
 
He finally got back to me. Hopefully will receive tracking by the end of the week and have the knife in hand by the end of the month.

The wait is over as I just received the knives that I had on order. To be honest the blades are ground nice and thin for serious kitchen use. The concern that I have is that the first batch of blades that I purchased from him, the handle material is shrinking causing gaps IMG_1049.jpegIMG_1050.jpegIMG_1051.jpeg. Looks like I’m going to have to pull these and replace with a more stable material 🙁. Fransisco is a very nice young maker but being in Brazil without having a reliable shipper I would have to question additional purchases of his work.

Couldn't hurt to soak those in BLO for 24 hours. Like fully immersed handles.

Just want to check if anyone has been in contact with Francisco. Last I heard from him was August and I’m still waiting for knives from February. Wanted to see if I was the only one still with no word.

I've heard from Francisco as recently as today. My order of knives was initially due no later than June. I still haven't received it, but supposedly it is shipping out this week in two packages. I've received a couple of tracking numbers throughout the wait. One never materialized into a shipping product. The most recent one, issued in early Oct, now has some activity on it this week where it looks like at least 1 of the 2 packages has made it to the states. Francisco is saying the second package should be flying out this week, but I've heard enough new promises/delivery dates from him, that I've reached the "proof is in the pudding" stage.

I'm hopeful that I will receive my knives, but would caution prospective buyers not to rely on dates he gives. I've had to scramble for last-minute substitute gifts for friends/family because several promised dates were missed.
