I am sure the moderators can help you with the removal, but it isn't that important IMO once you are aware of the scam and have PM ability. There is no reason for any seller to email you rather than use the PM system. So just don't send funds to anyone that emails you for them.
Unless specifically asked for, you don't even need to respond in the sales thread at all- PM instead-so none will even know you are interest, other than the seller

I still feel like you dont understand that somebody other than the seller contacted you and you sent them money.

L Larryb1939 sorry to see that you had a bit of a rocky situation here, but hat's off to you for taking the moderator's directions and suggestions in stride. There is a very positive experience to be had here sharing knives, and the love thereof among this community.

Because in his last comment before the explanation he said he was trying to send the seller a screenshot of the payment and never addressed the fact that he may not actually have sent his paylent to the seller. Just because he is getting a subscription to send messages doesnt mean he knows what happened.
 
I thought knifeforums.com went down years ago.
