Guys I'm sick to say that Gold member Striderco is fraudulently selling items in the name of my dead friend Art... Hes claiming the money will be donated to his family who spent there last penny burrying him.... This is %100 false, Art alone had a savings that could have burried him 10 times over. I have known the whole family since 10 years old and I promise you they are seeking no help or have received any money from this guy.
 
Not only does this information not belong here but I just looked at Striderco's recent started threads and see nothing of the sort. Maybe I missed something? I think a mod should close this.
 
I know striderco not saying your lying , but he's a stand up guy and in his profession doing something fraudulent might could cost him his job so I'm sceptical, but we will see how this plays out if I'm proven wrong in will apologize....
 
This is all strange. One post guy comes out of nowhere with this. Striderco has mentioned this in a couple of sales threads. All I know is that this is not the right forum and I don't know Whoareyou. Perhaps Whoareyou has no idea what they are talking about. Striderco has been here for a while and doubt he would add this information in threads where he is selling knives at good prices. It makes no sense.
 
If striderco is Adam James Parsons. No one in the family or circle of friends have heard that name, Or of any donations. His twin also just recieved a large amount of $$$ from his bro's passing
 
I know nothing of knives. Started this account to call this guy out. I was searching the obituary and stumbled upon his thread in the search results... got me really wondering how this guy could be his best friend when none of us ever met him! And the family spending there last penny is bs.
 
Maybe striderco did this as a kind jester , they probably have the funds to bury this gentleman, but this is being given to the family to help with these cost in a very hard, difficult time.

Do you work for the IRS? How about providing a few links to those alleged fradulent threads, so we can all appreciate what you are talking about.

Still makes absolutely zero sense for Striderco to use the name of anyone in threads where he is selling at decent prices. If he was jacking up prices and using a Heavy Heart story to sell then that's one thing, but why add the non pertinent info for no reason?

No body is feeding anything. As far as I'm concerned, this is defamation and Whoareyou needs to retract until there is proof or Striderco can answer for himself.

This thread really needs to be moved.
 
Something seems a miss here.

New guy comes in just to complain about an established member?

Without some proof this is just a personal attack or trolling.


And, this needs to be moved out of General.

If the OP's allegations are true, and the person he named is committing some sort of fraud, then the OP would have more success and could probably use his/her time more effectively by notifying the proper law enforcement authorities, rather than creating an account and starting a thread on this forum and making blind allegations.
