Can you provide any sort of proof of what you say is going on with this matter if you can provide links to show that what you say is real then i am sure ppl will take you at face value and if not then we have no reason to believe what is bieng said.

So please provide some sort of real proof not just words.
 
Well see if he ever responds. He has been contacted by the brother in his e mail. At very least the claims of being his best friend are 100% false and same with "spent there last penny"
 
Even if the story is BS, honestly, he sold a knife. Regardless of what he wrote in the sale thread, if the buyer was happy, there's no issue there.

I'm sorry to post this here guys but I was very upset to see this. I knew this guy and brothers for over 17 years and it just dosnt make sense.
 
It's also worth noting that a quick google search turns up several recently deceased Arthur Uzlyan's. It's unlikely, but not impossible that you both knew a different one.

Yes, but the question is did he send any money to anyone in the family.

Friends and family don't always know everything/everybody involved in a persons life.


That fact that you came here to stir up trouble worries me a bit.


The other side of this story needs to be heard.

If anyone has any relevant information on this claim, please email me or another one of the Exchange mods. We would like to get this cleared up sooner rather than later. I've sent a link to this thread to Striderco, until he replies to me I am going to lock this down before anything else gets too crazy.

The OP and I know each other. Why he has gone at me like this I do not know. I ve done nothing wrong. Yes I have had a few tough losses just in the past few months. This is a personal matter and should be dealt with that way. I would be more than happy to meet up face to face with you, the accuser. This would be the place for this matter if a forum member had a complaint about me. If I have defrauded or done any bad business at all with any of you guys. I have an impeccable record here but if anyone is not happy with any transaction that we have made please let me know! I am not here for a soap opera or to be harassed by trolls and will not be anyones entertainment. So unless someone has a problem with any business I have conducted here on BF I insist this thread be closed at once and the OP banned.
 
i have dealt with striderco for quite a while and he is a stand up guy. rev, this thread should have never been started. you need to talk to striderco.
 
Striderco has done no wrong on this forum. He has defrauded no one here. He has not defrauded the deceaseds family, as he has not taken from them. For all we know he was planning on giving to the family. What he does with the money from these sales is his concern and his only.

It is in very poor form to start a thread like this in a time of grief for all.
As the OP's intent here is not to be a part of this community. He is removed and this thread is closed.
