What is the steel of the 2nd knife in the second pic? AEBL? The one where the sheath had to be dyed.

Nice work, Dan.

On this one, what material are the "faux" burl maple scales?

Next, 2 EDC/Small Hunter,

Hello Andrew,
This was sold to me online as stabilized, dyed maple burl. To me, it does not feel like wood, possibly some type of kirinite (sp) type stuff maybe? It worked well, and I really cranked down on the Corby bolts before I glued them on to see if it would crack, it did not. If you want to try it, I will stand behind it 100%.
