This thread will be to give BF members first shot at some of the weirdest wood I find. You can call any of these pieces "Freaks of Nature" because they don't look anything like they were supposed to look. On a weirdness scale, many of these pieces are off the charts. The colors are all natural colors, nothing dyed pretty colors here.

The blocks in this thread will only be available for a matter of days. After a short period of time goes by, the leftovers will be removed and replaced with other strange pieces. With all that you guys have taught me, I figured it was only fair to give you first shot at the best and most unusual pieces of wood I find.

If you see something you like, just say "I'll take #..." and I will mark it sold. That way nobody can buy it out from under you. All this wood comes with a No Questions Asked, Money Back Guarantee!

You can keep picking out ones you like. Every couple of days I will try to add more. There is no hurry. Just let me know whenever you want me to figure a total and you can do payment then. Or whatever works best for you.
 
I'd like to put dibs on 909 - it's too crazy to let it get away, even if my skills aren't able to do it justice yet - and see if there's anything I want to add in the next batch - final checkout next week? Thanks, FF5
 
909 is amazing. i was thinking really hard about it but for some reason im not too partial to buckeye burl. but 909 rocks--marekz
 
Just pick one thats the same price and send it to me. I trust your judgment on the matter. I was sending a pay pal, when I got back to the forums the red wood had been marked sold. I guess I was a tad to late.

I removed the sold pieces and just added 13 new pieces at the top of the thread. As I add new pieces they will go at the top so you don't have to scroll through all the posts to see what's new.

I was wondering when somebody would notice this piece. It may have talked to you but it was yelling at me. Super burl figure and great contrasting colors. You're gonna love this piece.

Why isn't anybody snatching up 910? The way I see it is 2 handles that would be dark at one end and light at the other. Maybe I should cut it in half so people can see what I am seeing.
