Might want to take a look at the first page. I just finished 9 of the really good underground redwood burl. The way you guys are going, I'll never get to load any of this stuff on my website. Maybe I should call the underground redwood burl a Blade Forums exclusive. I also found a box of stabilized spalted maple burl blocks I had set aside and misplaced. I will go through them tomorrow and post some of the stranger ones here.

Ha, I just got home from work practically the first thing I did was start admiring the stuff again. Like I said before....wwwwwoooooooowwwwww!!!! Of course, I won't be able to afford any again for gawd knows how long!
 
Mark, any chance you could cut one of these into scales for me for a small fee? I mostly make full tang knives and don't have the equipment to slice the blocks down.

No problem cutting into scales. Only takes me a minute. Just remember when you post which one you want to also mention that it needs to be cut into scales. Thanks, Mark

I just got home and had a package from you. One large piece of spalted maple burl, and one piece of underground redwood burl.
I have rarely been so astonished.:eek: This stuff is incredible.:D My jaw literally fell to my chest.:eek: These will absolutely be used on my finest work.:thumbup::thumbup:

Mark, Oh My Gosh! I just got the package from you. Checked the calendar and it is still October 8th but I would swear it is December 25th. What beautiful wood!!! I can't wait to get in the shop. These have to go on something special.
