I built one (loosely) based on those plans. It is a great grinder, but I would make one modification and use a 10" plate of aluminum on the motor side. This would allow the motor to be mounted a bit lower so the top tool arm would clear it. That allows you to use the same (long) arm for different tools by moving it in and out. My second grinder is set up that way and it is much more versatile. I plan to machine a new motor mounting plate for the grinder and already have a piece of scrap aluminum put aside for it, but have not gotten around to it yet.
