I'd be lying if I said I'm not tempted to start selling these too after watching them go for $40+ in recent auctions. That means ten free clips net about $400. Is there any way for Benchmade to restrict this? It just seems very sleazy to me.

That seller is going to ruin it for the rest of us. Sure Benchmade can restrict this, they will just stop giving out free clips.

It's because people always take advantage of the nice guy, benchmade sends these out no questions asked and I love that about them, this one person will ruin it and you will have to purchase from benchmade sooner down the road guarantied

Get ready for more price hikes, thanks to these people that always run a good service into the ground. BTW, The clips are't free, you've already paid for it with the price of the knife. Free sounds better than prepaid.

Sort of. They don't require any proof that you own a Benchmade, or any knife for that matter.

What a jerk.

Whoever the seller is, he could use a swift kick to the groin. Benchmade has sent me three pocket clips already, free of charge.

When I bought my Griptilian, I emailed them and asked if I could purchase a deep carry clip. The promptly asked me what color I wanted and sent me one. A few weeks later, the clip got caught up in the couch threads and bent almost 60 degrees. I broke it trying to bend it back. I emailed them again and asked if I could send in the broken clip for another. The nice lady told me she would send me two, just in case the evil couch got me again. That is quality customer service and it's sad to see it being abused.

It should be easy for bkc to keep track of the shipping destination in their crm database. That way they can blacklist abusers while keeping their great service for the rest of us. I hope bkc is watching this thread.

40 bucks!? Who in their right mind would pay that much for a pocket clip without first calling the manufacturer to see how much they actually cost :stupid:. Which in this case is free! The seller is preying on stupid people and ruining it for everyone else in the process. :thumbdn:

The shady, scumbag antics some parasites will pull for a buck will never cease to amaze. :thumbdn:

What a douchebag...

:/

Based in Bulgaria, ***** has been an eBay member since Mar 21, 2009

The only thing he has for sale is the clips.

Why would anyone pay $40 for a knife clip? Even if you don't get them for free from Benchmade, there are a lot of alternatives for cheap.

I remember another member saying recently that BM limits each person to 10 clips per year. I'd say that is more than generous.

The sad thing about this douche is that obviously BM can change its policy of Customer Care.
And that double sad, because this dbags are ruining even honest people in need of assistance, even for one or two clips.

I'm very skeptical about this, can you post a link to the ebay auction where this unicorn pocket clip was sold for $40?

Even if someone was stupid enough to do it, you're not going to consistently have these kind of stupid buyers, so this "seller" is not ruining anything.

No you can't post a link its a live auction. There are actually two of them from the same guy, took all of one attempt and like 30 seconds to find it. It's not a "unicorn" its there. Are you the guy? Is that why you have such an attitude?

A true Ahole. The same as the people buying Ti and CF clips cheap and reselling at three times the cost.
