Lately I've been buying most of my knives from knifecenter.com, but have never taken the time to complete a review of any of the products I've purchased. Their attempt at motivating customers to do so has never appealed to me since most free gifts they give with purchase are things I don't care for and would rather just have an additional discount. With that being said, I'm still curious as to what kind of free gifts guys have been receiving on their next purchase after completing a review. My suspicion is that the free gift is just more of the same stuff that I don't care for in the first place.

For those willing to share. Thanks in advance.

I ordered almost $300 from them and answered the surveys.
They sent me a microwave, some popcorn and a toaster. I was impressed.

no, not really. :D
Just answer the surveys and find out. It might be something you like.

KC has great service and good prices. I can find most knives a bit cheaper than them, but they are fast and honest. The small inexpensive items they throw in for buying, 100 dollars or more wouldn't make me buy anything from them over another dealer. You have to figure they aren't going to give much away, for purchasing and most of what they offer probably didn't cost them but pennies per piece anyway. So yeah the freebies are just a token gesture to make them a bit different than their competitors. (in other words I think the KC is first rate on service and that's what I'd put first when considering a purchase. the little "gifts" they throw in at times are just a way of saying thank you IMO)

Thanks for the kind words. The current incentive item for reviews is a paring knife

that is decently made and fairly useful. We chose it because most folks like to have extra blades around their kitchen, tackle box or whatever and, even if they end up with several, they can use them. They come with a moderate edge and we use them in the break area here and they sharpen up decently. Obviously, we can't afford to give away expensive items- most customers would prefer to have the best price we can offer when they buy it instead of gifts later. They come to us pretty cheaply, but we buy them by the thousands, along with a similar steak knife- which is my favorite item to give away. You can see our current freebies on our newsletter HERE
I totally understand those that don't want these things and you are welcome to just tell us not to send them. Your knowledge about the products is appreciated by us and other shoppers.
