Lone_Wolfe, we understand that some don't like to give info, the last free raffle/giveaway for the Spyderco Schempp Tuff we had a problem; we could not reach the person that won. We tried to call and e-mail to let the winner know you won, beeb-beeb-beep that's what the phone did. We posted on our web-site that we would wait 3 days, we extended this to a week, we had to draw again and a member from this forum won. About 10 days later we received a call that this was not fair play and the first person claimed to be the winner, all info given was bogus.

If someone buys a knife worth $20 with a Credit Card or PayPal, more sensitive info is required regardless where you buy.

Nevertheless I respect everybody’s opinion, above is just an example why we ask for info.
