Quelle est l'histoire de ce couteaux?

Inspired by a french pattern called "coloniale" because it was given to the French army stationed in the colonies

The differences with the original one :
- it's a friction and not a slip-joint
- the blade is in san maï and not in carbone steel
- it has been made in Sardinia by Davide Steri and not in Thiers.

Quelle est l'histoire de ce couteaux?

No story , just a French guy who ask to his Sardinian friend to make him an Opinel but with a touch of quality ( iron bolster and san mai blade) .
At the end it looks like a very old Opinel used for years.... but it's not
