This one measures 9" open, with a 4" blade. It has black canvas micarta handles. I`ll be sending it to Mr. Night on Monday.

Thanks! I`ve come up with a new way of building them that makes them stronger than ever.

We get caught up with locking knives, and they do have their place. But a friction folder or traditional style can be more convenient. When you go to your knife constantly, but don't want to lay it down, a lock is just in the way.

One problem with them is most knives without locks are relatively small. This XL takes care of that. I am looking forward to mine. :)

I should mention that I make the pocket clips myself out of .062 thick titanium.

I am in awe, sir.

to say that you have exceeded my expectations would be an understatement.

thank you very much, I cant wait to get her in hand!

That looks as near to perfect as it can be. I've always liked a 4" blade for most applications. Pair that up with a small stockman or a SAK and your needs are covered.

Very nice John and nice call on the specs Mr Night.

What did you change to improve the design John?

great looking folder! But stronger you say? I'd like to know how to, mines as study as a rock.
